Uniform Bill of Lading
(UBOL)
The state of
Maine requires that all Universal Waste shipped within the
state be shipped utilizing a UBOL. This 8 part shipping
document is similar to a Hazardous Waste Manifest, in that
it provides "cradle-to-grave" tracking. The UBOL
is dispersed as follows:
Page1:
Mailed by the recycling facility to the destination
state.
Page 2:
Mailed by the recycling facility to the generator
state.
Page 3:
Mailed by the recycling facility to the generator.
Page 4:
Recycling facility retained copy
Page 5:
Transporter retained copy
Page 6:
Mailed by the generator to the destination state.
Page 7:
Mailed by the generator to the generator state.
