The Waste
Information Profile Form (WIPF) provides information from the generator regarding chemicals and processes used that may indicate potential constituents of concern in the waste, potential handling concerns, any incompatibility issues and appropriate storage and/or treatment requirements.
A completed WIPF is required for acceptance of all waste
streams to EMI with the exception of liquids and solids contaminated with virgin fuel oil.
A properly executed and approved Material
Origin Statement may be utilized for virgin fuel oils
acceptance. EMI reviews all WIPFs to determine if additional information, sampling or analysis is needed. The results of EMI’s review are recorded on each
WIPF. Upon approval of your waste stream to the EMI
facility, you will be issued a EMI authorization number
for each waste stream that is accepted. All generators are required to submit a new WIPF whenever the process generating the waste changes, or whenever the evaluation of the analytical results indicates that the waste has
changed. |
